Insert the spring nut anywhere along the continuous
slotted channel. The rounded nut ends permit easy
insertion.
A 90° clockwise turn aligns the grooves in the nut
with the inturn edges of the channel. Fitting can be
placed anywhere along the channel opening,
permitting complete freedom of adjustment. The need
for drilling holes is eliminated.
Insert the bolt through the fitting and into
the spring nut.

Additional channel sections can now
be bolted to the fitting already in place
by following procedure described in
steps 1-3.
Tightening with a wrench locks the
serrated teeth of the nut into the iturned
edges of the channel, to complete a
strong, vise-like connection.

Concrete Inserts :
Continuous Slot Concrete Inser are designed to provide a pre-set support system, cast in concrete ceilings, walls & floor to allow flexibility of attachments at any point along the channels. This provides as excellent support for pipe, conduit, cable trays etc.
Continuous Concrete Inser are manufactured from Am-Strut's standard Channel. Anchor Spacing is 200 mm C/C.
We also provide special PVC end caps, to avoid concrete insertion into the channels at the time of concreting.
Accessories Required
ELCON offers a comprehensive range of fittings & accessories to complete the total support system. Generally, fittings are manufactured from 6mm Mild Steel, however can be offered in different dimensions as well as thicknesses depending on applications.
Normal finish of all brackets and fittings is HOT DIP GALVANIZED.
All holes for all the fittings are a standard size of 14 mm, made of M12 Hex Bolts.
